Race Description:

NOTE: PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE RACE BY FRIDAY MAY 11TH TO GUARANTEE YOU WILL HAVE A TEE SHIRT ON RACE DAY. RUNNER'S BAGS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP ON FRIDAY MAY 18TH FROM 4PM-8PM AT WEED HIGH SCHOOL AND AGAIN ON SATURDAY FROM 6:30AM-7:15AM FOR THE HALF MARATHONERS; THE 5K AND 10K RUNNER'S MAY PICK UP THEIR BAGS UP TO 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF THOSE RUNS.

The 10K race will begin at the Weed High School track and then follow the cross country trail designed by a former student, for her Senior Project. You will run the 5K trail surrounding the high school,continuing through the town of Weed and return to Weed High School where you will re-enter the cross country course, finishing the race adjacent to the football field. On the run you will experience the peaceful tree lined running course adjacent to the campus, the small town streets surrounding our town, and the main street of our downtown area. Plenty of support will be available as you enjoy the scenic beauty of our small town and the entertaining finale at our school's campus.

This 6.1 mile course will be an enjoyable way to experience our small town and a terrific way to support our local schools, while having a great time. We know you'll enjoy the experience!!
